Project 1: VR simulation of "real" early home fires
Project background: Safety education has always been a focus of social attention. In order to enhance everyone's safety awareness and master the skills of fire escape, schools, communities, and enterprises regularly hold safety knowledge lectures, safety drills, and other activities. However, traditional preaching and drill activities cannot experience real disaster scenarios, and people's awareness of prevention and evacuation skills have not been effectively improved. While a large amount of manpower, financial resources, and material resources have been expended, they have not achieved the expected results. By using VR technology to construct virtual fire scenes, students can not only train and immerse themselves in different scenarios such as home and school, but also improve their skills in safety avoidance, self rescue, and self-protection, enhancing their awareness of safety precautions.
Scenario simulation: Simulate the scenario of gas leakage in a household kitchen, guide users to choose the correct way to deal with initial fires in the home through interaction. Users enter the constructed virtual home environment by wearing VR glasses, and the wireless sensor node feeds back the information collected from temperature, humidity, combustible gas and other sensors to the virtual home environment. Users can intuitively feel the changes in the current environment. When the combustible gas concentration detected by the combustible gas sensor exceeds the safe range, the sound and light alarm lights will be activated. Users can reduce the concentration of natural gas by cutting off the gas source and turning on the exhaust fan. When the combustible gas concentration feedback from the combustible gas sensor returns to the safe range, the sound and light alarm lights will turn off.
